Raptors Report (June 20): Ridgefield 3, Walla Walla Sweets 2

Highlights ­- Ken Tomitaka (Santa Ana College) singled home Jayden Nakamura (Iowa Western) in the fifth inning to put the Raptors ahead that would end up being the winning margin. Zada Wadas (Loyola Marymount) hit a two-run home run in the first inning to put the Raptors up 2-0. The win pushed the Raptors' lead in the WCL South Division to four games over second-place Walla Walla.

At the plate - Wadas went 2 for 4. Tomitaka, JT Summers (Oregon) and Cade Ladehoff (Michigan) had the other hits for the Raptors. Micahel Perazzo (Sacramento State) had three walks.

On the mound - Jake Lenberger (Eastern Oregon) picked up the win with two scoreless innings of relief. He allowed one hit and struck out one. Tyler Walton (UC Santa Barbara) also had two innings of scoreless relief, and Boston Jensen (Utah Tech, Camas HS) pitched the ninth to earn his second save of the season.

Next up - The Raptors (15-5) conclude their series with the Sweets at 1:05 p.m. Sunday at the RORC. Sunday's game is a Kids in Free Sunday, sponsored by PeaceHealth and The Columbian. Children 12 and under get into the game when accompanied by an adult.
