Kelsey Mitchell Wants More After Indiana Fever Win Four Straight

Indiana Fever guard Kelsey Mitchell knows her team is capable of more, even after its best stretch of the season.

The Fever won their fourth straight game Tuesday, topping the Toronto Tempo 113-91 at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. Indiana now sits third in the Eastern Conference at 9-5 after an inconsistent start to the season.

Mitchell was once again instrumental. The three-time All-Star led all scorers with 27 points. She shot a brilliant 9-of-11 from the field and 3-of-4 from behind the arc in 32 minutes.

In a courtside interview after the game, she addressed the team's surge with measured optimism.

"I think you can always get better," she said.

Mitchell sees the winning run as a building block for bigger things ahead.

"But I do like our 4-0 run," continued the three-time All-Star. "I think it's good for our chemistry as you get past the commissioner side of things, and try to get in the flow. I think that's important for us, especially as All-Star break approaches. You want to be as legit as possible."

Mitchell had plenty of help as fellow All-Stars finished strong against the Tempo. Caitlin Clark posted 21 points and 14 assists while Aliyah Boston controlled the interior with 18 points and 11 rebounds.

Mitchell has been a consistent force for head coach Stephanie White all season. The 30-year-old is Indiana's top scorer, averaging 20.8 points per game across 14 appearances.

Shooting 47.2% from the field, Mitchell has been dependable, especially in crucial moments. She has provided a reliable scoring option alongside Clark all season.

The Fever carry championship aspirations into 2026. For those to become reality, Mitchell will need to keep delivering.
