Micah Parsons Says NBA Playoffs Weren't The Same Without 1 Player
The 2026 NBA playoffs just wrapped up with an NBA Finals victory for the New York Knicks.
The Knicks cruised through the postseason with a 16-3 record, securing the franchise’s first NBA title since 1973 with a 4-1 series victory over the San Antonio Spurs. New York notched back-to-back series sweeps over the Philadelphia 76ers and Cleveland Cavaliers en route to their title victory.
Last year, the Knicks fell to Tyrese Haliburton and the Indiana Pacers in the Eastern Conference Finals. The Pacers took the Oklahoma City Thunder to seven games in the NBA Finals, but Haliburton suffered a devastating Achilles tear during the first quarter of the Game 7 matchup.
Haliburton missed the entire 2025-26 NBA season as the Pacers finished the year with a 19-63 record, missing the playoffs for the first time since 2023.
Green Bay Packers pass rusher Micah Parsons sent a clear message about Haliburton after this year’s playoffs.
“The nba missed Haliburton this year!! Playoffs wasn't the same without him!” Parsons wrote on X.

With Haliburton healthy heading into the 2026-27 NBA season, the Pacers should return to playoff relevance. Through 73 regular-season games in 2024-25, the two-time All-Star point guard averaged 18.6 points and 9.2 assists per game.

Parsons, a five-time Pro Bowler and three-time All-Pro pass rusher, is entering his second season with the Packers in 2026. Green Bay will kickoff its regular-season schedule with a Week 1 matchup against the Minnesota Vikings on Sep.13.
