All About Pedri's Family and Parents
Pedri comes from a close-knit, football-obsessed family consisting of his parents, Fernando González and María Rosario López, and his older brother, Fernando González.
His father was a former local goalkeeper who gave up his professional football aspirations in 2005 to run the family business.
Pedri's father is also known for a special tradition he shares with his son. Whenever Pedri wins a major trophy with Barcelona, he takes a penalty against his father, allowing him to relive his dream of being a goalkeeper.
Pedri has one sibling, an older brother named Fernan. He is two years older than Pedri and lives with him in Catalonia.
