Josh Hokit Says Michelle Obama ‘Is a Man' After UFC Freedom 250 Win

UFC fighter Josh Hokit brazenly insulted former first lady Michelle Obama following his win over Derrick Lewis at the UFC Freedom 250 event taking place at the White House Sunday night, saying in part that she “is a man”.

While speaking to podcast host Joe Rogan after his TKO win, Hokit thanked President Donald Trump for putting the event on. Hokit later said, “And lastly, Michelle Obama is a man, am I right America?”

Rogan could then be heard saying, “Ladies and gentlemen, Josh Hokit.”

In a video posted to X on Sunday by the White House, Hokit can be seen giving a chain to Trump at the event. It is immediately unknown at the time of publication if this is before or after his victory speech.

Newsweek reached out to both the White House and Michelle Obama’s office for comment.

Hokit’s remarks were met with immediate push back online following the fight.

Former NFL professional football player Robert Griffin III took a swipe at Hokit saying on X, “Josh Hokit won the biggest fight of his career at the White House and decides to finish his interview by calling Michelle Obama a Man. What a disgrace. It takes a really small man to use his biggest moment to attack a woman by calling her a man. Especially with the history behind calling black women men.”
