Fever Fans Accuse Stephanie White Of 'Humiliating' Caitlin Clark

Although the Indiana Fever defeated the Chicago Sky in overtime Thursday night, their fans are not thrilled with head coach Stephanie White at the moment.

Caitlin Clark (32 points and 10 assists) and Aliyah Boston (34 points and 12 rebounds) were sensational Thursday, becoming the first pair of teammates in WNBA history to have 30-point double-doubles in the same game. Despite their performances on the court, the Fever nearly threw the game away due to sloppy inbounds play with 5.1 seconds left in regulation.

Fever fans are convinced White wanted the ball in Kelsey Mitchell's hands at the end of the game instead of relying on Clark.

"Stephanie Whites only cares to humiliate Caitlin nothing else," one fan declared.

"The Indiana fever were out coached again tonight," a second fan wrote. "NO FREAKING SURPRISE. It is a miracle they won with all of the coaching blunders."

"Caitlin's interaction with Stephanie White tonight," a third fan commented. "So clear that they lied to Caitlin about what play they were going to run at the end of regulation."

"Been seeing this more lately. Why does the head coach have so much ego that she is not giving the best player on her team the ball….that is embarrassing," another person asked.

Caitlin Clark and Coach White made headlines earlier this season.

Back on May 30, Clark was seen having a heated exchange with White on Indiana's bench during a loss to the Portland Fire. When asked about their interaction, the former No. 1 pick downplayed any chatter about them having a rift.

"A lot of those things happen all the time, and I know there's a camera on me, and that's how it's going to be," Clark said. "But there's a lot of people out there in the media or on TV that they think they know a lot of things and they're just blatantly wrong about a lot of things."

Clark seems to be handling this up-and-down season fairly well, albeit we can't say the same thing for her fans.

The Fever will return to the hardwood Sunday night for a showdown with the Connecticut Sun.
