When Does Mexico Play at the 2026 FIFA World Cup? Full Fixtures, Dates & Kick-Off Times

Mexico is one of the host nations at the 2026 World Cup, and like the other two host nations, Canada and the United States, all three of their group stage matches will be played on home soil.

Mexico will be playing its first group stage match against South Africa today, June 11, 2026, which marks the opening match of the 2026 World Cup tournament.

The Mexico vs South Africa match will kick off at 1 p.m. local time in Mexico City, Mexico, at the Estadio Azteca, also known as Mexico City Stadium, for the 2026 World Cup.

Mexico will play another game at Mexico City Stadium and one game at the Guadalajara Stadium, which is also known as Estadio AKRON, home of Mexican club Chivas de Guadalajara.

Mexico's Full World Cup 2026 Schedule

Following Mexico's opening match in the World Cup against South Africa, Mexico will have a week to prepare for its second match of Group A, which is against South Korea at Guadalajara Stadium.

Mexico vs South Korea will be on June 18, 2026, at 7 p.m. local time in Guadalajara, Mexico. The match will kick off at 9 p.m. ET / 6 p.m. PT in the United States.

The final group stage game for Mexico will be on June 24, 2026, against Czechia. The match will kick off at 7 p.m. local time in Mexico City, Mexico, at the Mexico City Stadium. The match will kick off at 9 p.m. ET / 6 p.m. PT in the United States.

If Mexico advances to the knockout stages, Mexico's game in the Round of 32 would be either on June 28, June 29, June 30th, or July 1, depending on where Mexico finishes in the group.
