Selena Gomez Not Happy With Photo Of Taylor Swift At NBA Finals
Taylor Swift was at Madison Square Garden on Wednesday night to witness the New York Knicks pull off the greatest comeback in NBA Finals history.
The Knicks erased a 29-point deficit against the San Antonio Spurs thanks to Jalen Brunson and OG Anunoby. That dynamic duo combined for 69 points in one of the most thrilling games NBA fans have ever seen.
Anunoby sent the crowd at Madison Square Garden into a frenzy by tipping in Brunson's miss to put the Knicks up 107-106 with 1.2 seconds remaining.
"It's unbelievable," Knicks coach Mike Brown said in regards to Anunoby's game-winner. "You know, the tip, how he had to control it and tip it in, and then like I said, you know, that has to be the most iconic shot in the history of New York basketball."
Swift, who was sitting courtside with Alana and Este Haim, couldn't help but go wild after the Knicks secured a 3-1 series lead in the NBA Finals.
Selena Gomez wasn't a happy camper on Wednesday.
Social media users noticed that Selena Gomez, a fan of the Spurs, commented on an MTV post about Swift at the Knicks game.
There are some Swifties convinced that Gomez has beef with their favorite celebrity. Others, however, believe the "Only Murders in the Building" star is just upset the Spurs lost.
"She tanked and is irrelevant so she had to be insufferable again for attention," one fan said.
"It's because she's a Spurs fan, like Selena being the only Spurs supporter in the whole group," a second fan wrote.
"She's hardcore Spurs fans," another person commented. "She must be bitter her beloved team lost and her friends celebrating the Knicks."
For what it's worth, Us Weekly reported that Gomez will attend Swift's wedding in July.
"The guest list grew, so the ceremony and private gatherings associated with the wedding," an insider told Us Weekly. "Taylor always has a plan B and C for every scenario. They feel confident hosting it there. The entire area will be very private and guarded."
Swift is expected to get married to Travis Kelce at Madison Square Garden, according to TMZ.
