Aces confirm they did not get White House invitation

LAS VEGAS - The Las Vegas Aces are the latest professional basketball championship team to not receive an invitation to visit the White House.

A team spokesperson confirmed the Aces were not extended an invite from President Donald Trump, who has not welcomed an NBA or WNBA champion during his administration.

The Aces are scheduled to play in the nation's capital against the Washington Mystics on July 22, a trip that would provide the most likely timeline for a championship celebration.

That is not expected to happen.

The Aces did visit the White House after their championships in 2022 and 2023 when President Joe Biden was in office.

A'ja Wilson helped facilitate the first visit when she replied to a social media post from Biden congratulating the Golden Knights.
