Knicks 'Declined' Kim Kardashian's Interest In Jeremy Lin
Although nothing ever materialized, Kim Kardashian apparently had interest in former New York Knicks star Jeremy Lin.
During the 2011-12 NBA season, Lin became a fan favorite in New York because he led the Knicks on a seven-game winning streak. That stretch sparked a phenomenon known by basketball fans as "Linsanity." Overall, he finished that year averaging 14.6 points and 6.2 rebounds per game.
There were rumors during that season that Kardashian wanted access to Lin, but the Knicks shot down that request.
Well, Lin confirmed that rumor during an interview with former ESPN star Pablo Torre.
"I heard that request did come in and it was a real request. She was filming her show at the time and she was looking for kind of, like, a New York athlete to be on the show," Lin said. "This is what was told to me afterwards because the Knicks immediately declined that request."
Unsurprisingly, NBA fans had a lot to say about Lin's admission.
"Kim really tried to go from Kris Humphries to Jeremy Lin," one fan commented.
"Couldn't go East so she went West," a second fan wrote on X.
"Jeremy Lin is why Kanye is crazy is what I get out of this," another fan sarcastically said.
Kim Kardashian is currently seeing a star athlete.
Just three days ago, Kardashian was spotted in the Formula 1 paddock for the Monaco Grand Prix. She was cheering on seven-time F1 champion Lewis Hamilton.
"Yeah, it's amazing to have her come this weekend and have her support," Hamilton said after the race. "My friends [in general]. It was an incredible turnout overall. I don't know what else to say. It's amazing to have good people around you and supporting you. And she does that for me every day."
Kardashian and Hamilton have reportedly been spending time with each other since New Year's Eve 2026.
