Indiana Fever Congratulate Caitlin Clark on Latest Honor
Caitlin Clark led the Indiana Fever to victory over the Washington Mystics on Monday night, scoring a game-high 19 points in the 78-76 win.
The All-Star point guard drilled a deep three pointer with just over one second remaining on the clock in the fourth quarter, securing the Fever’s sixth win of the 2026 WNBA season.
The following day, Clark was recognized as one of Time Magazine’s top-100 most influential people in sports.
“When the history of women's basketball is written, expect a chapter-or two or three- on Caitlin Clark, whose showmanship and three-point exploits, in both college and the WNBA, have brought unprecedented attention to the game,” Time’s senior correspondent Sean Gregory wrote.
The Fever recognized this honor with a social media post congratulating Clark on Tuesday.
“CC continues to shine. Congrats to Caitlin Clark on being named to @TIME’s 100 most influential people in sports 2026 list,” the team wrote on X.
