Christopher Bell and Chase Elliott Violently Collide at Michigan Causing Red Flag

A breathtaking wreck between Christopher Bell and Chase Elliott has left NASCAR with no choice but to throw the red flag. For the 10th caution of the day, Bell and Elliott got tangled up racing in the front of the field, and the impact was nothing short of extraordinary.

The SAFER barrier will need to undergo repairs, which forced NASCAR to throw the red flag. This was one of those wrecks where you wait to see the driver drop the window net and climb out. It is a testament to the safety of these cars and the barriers that Bell and Elliott walked away under their own power.

Both drivers will make a trip to the infield care center. Hopefully, both are checked and cleared without further issues or injury.
