Gayle King, 71, Makes Public Move For Tom Brady

There's no shortage of women who would love to be the next Mrs. Tom Brady. But is CBS Mornings veteran Gayle King, at 71 years old, angling to get in the front of the line?

King certainly hinted as much in a recent interview with Jennifer Lopez and Brett Goldstein. When Goldstein revealed that he was writing a movie for King, she asked him point-blank if it included a romance between her and Brady.

"Do I fall in love with Tom Brady? No, does he fall in love with me?" King asked. "You're very good at manifesting."

She later joked with Goldstein again about hoping he would reach out Brady about her crush on him.

It was fairly recently that King appeared on the Call Her Daddy podcast and revealed that she has a crush on an unnamed former NFL player. While she didn't explicitly state that she had a crush on Brady at the time, she did suggest that she was interested in someone his age.

"[I want] not someone I could give birth to but younger. You know, like, Tom Brady's age," King said. "I just saw Tom Brady, and I had to stop myself from going, ‘You are so good-looking.' He's also terrific. Tom will appreciate the sense of humor."

King has been happily single since divorcing her ex-husband William Bumpus in 1993. Brady is much more recently divorced, having split with Gisele Bundchen in 2022 after nearly 15 years of marriage.

Though unlike King, Brady has been far more willing to go out on dates in public, being seen with the likes of Irina Shayk and Alix Earle in the years since their parting.
