Chris Bosh Makes NBA Finals Pick: Says Knicks Have ‘Huge Advantage'

The 2026 NBA Finals between the San Antonio Spurs and New York Knicks begin with Game 1 on Wednesday night.

In preparation of this highly-anticipated championship series, several prominent figures from around the NBA world are making their official predictions - including NBA Hall of Famer Chris Bosh.

Bosh, a two-time NBA champion, knows what it takes for a team to secure a championship title. He predicts the Knicks to win the series in six games.

Bosh believes New York has a “huge advantage” with their playoff experience, including last year’s painful Eastern Conference Finals loss to the Indiana Pacers.

“My pick to win the NBA Finals is the Knicks in six,” Bosh said. “I’m going to take the grizzled veteran presence over the youth and inexperience. I think New York has a huge advantage because they’re going to play with that pain. They’re going to play with [Tyrese] Haliburton’s shot still in their brain from last year.”

“San Antonio doesn’t have that yet,” Bosh continued. “I think they’re all very fantastic players, hugely fantastic team. But they’re still inexperienced.”

The Spurs, led by 22-year-old superstar Victor Wembanyama, have reached this point despite their playoff inexperience. In fact, the 7-foot-4 Frenchman views his team’s lack of postseason experience as an advantage.

“The lack of experience is a strength of us,” he said during an interview with ESPN’s Malika Andrews. “We could do impossible stuff because we don’t know it’s impossible.”
