Jim Harbaugh and Chargers Get Kudos for Key Offseason Move
Jim Harbaugh is slowly but surely helping this team rebuild, and during the 2025 season, they had an 11-6 record and finished No. 2 in the AFC West, so it’s working. Now, the team is getting props for one of its less glamorous moves.
In a story published on Wednesday, May 27, Mike Sando of The Athletic names his favorite moves for each NFL franchise during the league’s offseason. “With most major NFL offseason moves complete, it’s a good time to single out a favorite move for each team,” he says in the feature. “This exercise is always easier for some teams than for others, so some of these ‘favorites’ are relative to what’s available.”

He gives Harbaugh props for inking a “more reliable starting center” in Tyler Biadasz.
“The Chargers needed to stabilize the middle of their offensive line and seemed to upgrade from incumbent Bradley Bozeman by signing Tyler Biadasz to a three-year, $30 million deal,” he states in the piece. “Biadasz has started at least 15 games in each of the past five seasons, including 31 for the Commanders over the past two.”

Biadasz isn’t a household name, by any means, but this is a move that should really strengthen the team’s core. Biadasz, who was a fourth-round pick of the Dallas Cowboys in 2020, ended last season on injured reserve, so the Chargers got him at a deal, and assuming he’s healthy, it should pay off.
