Shakur Stevenson and O'Shaquie Foster Engage in Heated Trash Talk in the Ring After Fight
After O'Shaquie Foster's majority decision win in a WBC super featherweight title defense against Raymond Ford, Foster started calling out Shakur Stevenson, who was sitting ringside during the fight. Stevenson, who attended the fight in support of Ford, quickly responded by climbing into the ring for a face-to-face with Foster.

The two immediately started insulting each other, with Foster exclaiming, "Let's do it," and "I made you quit," and Stevenson replying with "I made you quit," and "Imma knock you out."
The two verbally agreed to a fight with Foster proposing, "Let's do it next."
Stevenson responded, "Come on! I'm gonna knock you out!" He also refused to shake Foster's hand on the agreement and said, "You a bum," repeatedly.
"Shock" followed up by getting closer to Stevenson and warning him, "Watch out. Don't disrespect me, bro. Don't disrespect me," to which Stevenson continued responding, "You a bum. You a b-."
Trash Talk Continues After Face-to-Face
After their in-ring verbal back-and-forth, Foster was interviewed by DAZN and asked what his next fight might be, though everyone in the ring and in the crowd could feel the tension.

Foster claims that the fight with Raymond Ford was only a stepping stone to get a fight against Shakur, stating, "[Shakur] knows this, why I came to his little man, to show him I was serious about making a fight with him. I'll go to 140, or whatever he wants to do. If he wants to meet at 135 - whatever he wants to do. Let's do it."
Shakur, never one to back down from a challenge or callout, continued his verbal war on Foster via his social media:
Tell his hoe ass pick up the phone we could run it next

Don't say he a 30 pounder either he talked his way here now let's go

Though the two are far apart in weight, they both have experience sparring with each other as former stablemates.
Stevenson's promoter, Antonio Leonard, claimed that Shakur would get the upper hand during those sparring sessions:
Foster's Next Fight
For Foster, he now has a few options for his next fight. After defeating high-level competition in Raymond Ford and Stephen Fulton, he could run it next with Shakur despite the weight difference. Another option is for him to fight the WBO and IBF junior lightweight champion, Emanuel Navarrete.
Despite Navarrete being the most viable option for "Shock," he made it clear that the person he wants to fight next is the man who called him a "bum" in the ring.
"If I can't get Shakur next, hopefully me and Navarrete can do it," he told DAZN. "But y'all know who I want."
