The Champions League final demonstrated the ability of both teams, with Arsenal committing players back to defend and PSG showcasing their threatening attack, who were missing their finishing.
Arsenal took the lead early after a poor mistake from Marquinhos, who tried clearing the ball, but it hit Leandro Trossard. It left Kai Havertz with lots of space, and as the German ran towards the goal, he laced his shot straight into the roof of the net to give Arsenal the lead.
Arsenal took the lead at halftime, but PSG dominated possession and tried many times to break down the Arsenal defense.
In the second half, PSG looked even more threatening, and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia was fouled in the box by Cristhian Mosquera. Ousmane Dembele stepped up and scored from the penalty spot to tie the game.
