Air Jordan 4 ‘Toro Bravo': First Reissue, Release Date & Where to Buy
While most of sneaker culture is financially recovering from a weekend that gave us the Nigel Sylvester x Air Jordan 4 "Brick after Brick" and the Air Jordan 12 "Bloodline," there's a sound getting louder by the second. It sounds like a herd of raging bulls, which means the return of the Air Jordan 4 "Toro Bravo" (Style Code: FQ8138-600) is almost here.
The "Toro Bravo" only released once back in 2013 before disappearing for over a decade. Now Tinker Hatfield's bold red suede AJ4 is finally back, and for a lot of sneakerheads, this retro feels personal. Let's get into it.

Why Are Sneakerheads So Excited About the Air Jordan 4 "Toro Bravo"?
It's the color blocking for me. The Air Jordan 4 "Toro Bravo" is wrapped in a vivid varsity red suede that feels so Chicago it should only be viewed while listening to Twista and eating a 4 wing from Harold's.
When these first dropped in 2013, it wasn't that we had never seen a red sneaker before - it was the fact Jordan Brand gave the Air Jordan 4 silhouette, arguably the crown jewel of MJ's signature line, this much attitude.
Tinker Hatfield's iconic design pairs the vibrant suede upper with Cement Grey, black, and white accents that keep the sneaker loud without letting it spiral into visual chaos. Mesh netting, black eyelets, and Jumpman branding on the tongue and heel finish things off without taking away from the swagger. If you love bold sneakers, this pair feels like a dream. If your taste leans quieter, the execution still demands respect.

Raffles and online draws are already live, so if you're serious about securing a pair, now is the time to start entering. The real question now is whether the "Toro Bravo" will sit around long enough for everybody to eat - or disappear as quickly as the original 2013 release did.
How Hard Will the Air Jordan 4 "Toro Bravo" Be To Get?
Because of my size 14 feet, almost every sneaker is difficult for me to get. Anytime I catch a W on SNKRS, I feel like Michael Jordan personally called somebody at Nike and told them to show me some love.
Early resale prices for the "Toro Bravo" AJ4 have already seen some sizes dip below retail. If that trend holds closer to release day, these could end up being a surprisingly easy cop. I'm not sure if there's a glitch in the matrix or if sneakerheads are just financially exhausted from wave after wave of heat dropping every other weekend. Right now, it feels like there's a new sneaker release every fifteen minutes.
That being said, in about fifteen minutes, I'll probably still be hopping in line trying to grab the "Toro Bravo" Jordan 4s anyway. What about you?
