Kelso coach Mary Chennault: "Today was a tough day for Kelso Tennis. Our players faced tough opponents and came up short. This was a bittersweet end to an exceptional season for Rain De Leon and Rylie Nelsen and Taylor Nelsen.

They all played tennis year round preparing for this moment. I am extremely proud of the dedication and hard work they showed in earning a spot to the state tournament. Even more impressive was the way they represented themselves on and off the court, regardless of the outcome of each match. They competed with class, composure and outstanding sportsmanship throughout the tournament."
