Tiger Woods Has Reportedly Left The U.S. For Switzerland Again
Tiger Woods returned to the United States earlier this month, after receiving some overseas treatment in Europe.
However, the 15-time major champion has reportedly left the United States again. Woods, who was arrested for DUI in late March, admitted to needing treatment after suffering from pain issues.
"I know and understand the seriousness of the situation I find myself in today," the 15-time major champion said. "I am stepping away for a period of time to seek treatment and focus on my health. This is necessary in order for me to prioritize my well-being and work toward lasting recovery.
"I'm committed to taking the time needed to return to a healthier, stronger, and more focused place, both personally and professionally. I appreciate your understanding and support, and ask for privacy for my family, loved ones and myself at this time."
According to a report, Woods has once again left the United States, as his plane has landed in Switzerland.
"Tiger Woods' private plane returned to Zurich Airport on Sunday ostensibly so he could resume his rehabilitation process. According to Celebplanes.com, the Gulfstream V with tag N517TW took off Saturday night from Witham Field in Stuart, Fla., and flew for 8 hours and 48 minutes back to Switzerland," Golfweek.com reported.
It's been an emotional time for Woods
It's been an emotional time for Woods, whose girlfriend, Vanessa Trump, has been diagnosed with breast cancer.
"Tiger has been very supportive of Vanessa through all of this and is really just focused on being there for her," a source told Page Six several days ago.
"He's proud of how positive she's stayed and how she's handling everything so far. She's been so strong and he truly believes she's going to be okay. He's just trying to support her however he can right now."
It's unclear if both Tiger Woods and Vanessa Trump are overseas.
