Sounders visit LAFC in final game before FIFA Men's World Cup break
The Sounders are on the road to play Los Angeles FC.
It's their final game before an approximate two-month shutdown for the FIFA Men's World Cup beginning in June. Both sides are looking to bounce back from losses last week, but LAFC is on a four-game losing streak, across all competitions.

The Sounders are winless against their modern-day rival in regular-season play on the road (0-7-1). The club's sole win against LAFC on their field was a thrilling Western Conference final in 2019. The Black & Gold are struggling after starting the season on an 11-match unbeaten streak but have posted six shutouts at home through all competitions.
Injury updates
Sounders forward Danny Musovski was able to train despite having a tooth knocked out during the 2-0 loss to the LA Galaxy at Lumen Field last week. He's wearing a mouthguard.
Alex Roldan wasn't available against the Galaxy due to a hamstring injury. The Sounders defender trained this week but is listed as questionable along with winger Paul Arriola (adductor).
LAFC star keeper Hugo Lloris, defender Sergi Palencia and midfielder Jacob Shaffelburg are out with leg injuries.

"I'm still not really satisfied with how this season has gone so far," said Sounders winger Paul Rothrock, who leads the team with six goals through all competitions. "I'm looking forward to this break in the middle of the season where, depending on how you play it, you can come out of that break in even better shape having worked on some things. You usually don't have this opportunity in MLS, especially on the Sounders, to get a period of time like this where you have no games, lots of training. I'm seeing it as an eight-week window to really add a few tools to my toolbox."
