Golf Community Thinking Of Vanessa Trump After Her Cancer Diagnosis

The golf world is thinking of Vanessa Trump following her cancer diagnosis on Wednesday evening.

Vanessa Trump, who is dating Tiger Woods, has had quite a past month-plus. She had to deal with her boyfriend, the most popular golfer in the world, getting arrested in late March. Tiger Woods then headed overseas for treatment.

Now, Vanessa Trump is having to deal with a cancer diagnosis. She has been diagnosed with breast cancer.

"I want to share a personal health update. I've recently been diagnosed with breast cancer. While this isn't news anyone expects, I'm working closely with my medical team on a treatment plan. I would like to thank my doctors for performing a procedure earlier this week on me. I am staying focused and hopeful while surrounded by the love and support of my family, my kids, and those closest to me. Thank you for your kindness and support it truly means more than I can express. I kindly ask for privacy as I focus on my health and recovery," she announced.

The golf world, which has grown close to Vanessa Trump thanks to her relationship with Tiger Woods - her daughter, Kai Trump, is also set to play golf at the University of Miami - is sending their thoughts to her on Wednesday night.

"Tiger Woods' girlfriend Vanessa Trump has announced that she has been diagnosed with breast cancer and is undergoing treatments. We are thinking about her and Tiger at this time," NUCLR GOLF shared on X.

Vanessa Trump has been 'happy' to have Tiger Woods back home

Vanessa Trump has been happy to have Tiger Woods, who traveled overseas for treatment following his late March DUI arrest, back home in Florida.

"Tiger took his trip seriously and is all about continuing his recovery and putting this chapter behind him," a source in Jupiter told PEOPLE.

"He is in good spirits and also can't wait to put the legal issues to rest."

Vanessa has been quite busy.

"Vanessa is a busy mom, which for the most part does not get in the way of the overall vibe of her relationship with Tiger, [who is] also busy with his life, golf, charity, video game work projects and kids," a source added.

"There is no question that they are in love and [that] their mutual interest in golf has helped even in the hard times when Tiger was fighting his pain and other issues resulting from injuries and aging."
