Danica Patrick Shows Off Impressive Gym Results at 44
Danica Patrick is set to be on the air at the Indy 500 on Sunday afternoon.
The former IndyCar star, whose best finish in the iconic U.S. race came in 2009, when she finished in third place, will be on the call for the race, which is set to air on FOX on Sunday afternoon, May 24.
She's excited.
"Back home again in (windy) Indiana!!!!" she wrote over the weekend.
"Vibes were definitely high for what became a one day qualifying show for the pole after Saturday rained out. Fun day on track and great catching up with old friends! 🏁"
Patrick's fans were impressed, meanwhile, by her physique, which she showed off in a sleeveless dress. Her arms and figure were looking extremely toned.
Patrick's fans were impressed.
"Looking jacked!" one wrote.
"Danica doesn't skip arm day!" another added.
"She's stunning - she clearly hits the gym hard," another fan added.
Patrick, who retired from full-time racing in 2018, has still been hitting the gym pretty hard. Clearly, it shows. Patrick showed off some impressive gym progress and results in a photo shared earlier this year, too.
Patrick's gym habits have been consistent
Patrick might have retired in 2018, but she's stayed consistent in the gym, working on "high-intensity interval training and combines aerobic exercise with calisthenics (push-ups and burpees) and weights."
"I learned you can change the size of your body with cardio but you'll never change the shape of your body without adding weights to your exercise routine," Patrick previously admitted. "Weight training can help you build lean muscle and lose body fat."
Patrick and the rest of the IndyCar on FOX crew will be on display during the race this weekend.
The first lap is scheduled for 12:45 p.m. E.T. Pre-race coverage will begin 10 a.m. E.T. on Sunday.
