NFL Influencer Annie Agar Sparks Concern With Swimsuit Photo
Sports content creator Annie Agar, who blew up during the COVID-19 pandemic thanks to her Zoom-style sketches, has built up a massive following online.
Agar has close to 700,000 followers on X, formerly known as Twitter, while also having more than 600,000 followers on Instagram and more than 1.1 million followers on TikTok. But many of her followers are concerned following her latest photo, which was a swimsuit shot during a fishing trip.
"still better catch rate than jerry jeudy," she wrote in a May 17 post, joking about the veteran NFL wide receiver.
Agar looked extremely tan while holding up a fish in the photo.
But her followers are concerned. Hundreds of fans have responded to the photo on X and Instagram, expressing concern about the photo.
NFL fans express concern over Agar's photo
NFL fans posted concerning messages.
"Guys…she honestly needs help. I've never seen someone go from a perfect, athletic body, to a skeleton this fast. It's so sad. 🙏," one wrote in a tweet that got more than 2,000 likes.
"I say this with all the respect in the world. Please stop losing weight. You are dangerously skinny," another wrote.
Others, meanwhile, are defending her.
"The amount of body shaming on here is despicable. Where the heck are the men at? Annie, (expletive) them all. Keep doing you," one wrote.
"People using a picture of a woman holding a fish as an invite to comment on her body and life style is just (expletive) crazy. Sad really," another wrote.
Agar has built up an extremely big following online, which can unfortunately result in a lot of comments being made from people who don't always know what they are talking about. But the reaction to the photo has gotten big enough to warrant a response from Agar herself.
The NFL influencer, meanwhile, is gearing up for the 2026 season.
