Community Sports: Jeremiah Rubano wins half marathon at Reflection Run in Washougal

May 18-Jeremiah Romano, Amy VanTassel, Carson Ray, Jessica Gordon, Scott Gullickson were winners at the Reflection Run, a half marathon, 10-kilometer and 5-kilometer running event Sunday in Washougal.

Romano won the half marathon, covering the 13.1-mile course in 1 hour, 21 minutes, 49 seconds. VanTassel was the top female finisher in 1:31:42.

Ray won the 10-kilometer run in 36:14. Gordon was the top female finisher in 40:55.

And Gullickson was the 5-kilometer winner in 19:08.

The Reflection run is one of 18 running and multi-discipline events held by Why Racing. Why Racing's next event is the PDX Triathlon Festival, held Sunday, May 31 at Blue Lake Regional Park in Fairview, Ore.

The event includes Olympic and Spring District Triathlon, Duathlon and Aquabike and a Super Spring/My First Tri course. Participants can register for the event at whyracingevents.com.
