Alexander Rossi Taken to Hospital Following Indianapolis 500 Practice Wreck
A big wreck in Practice 7 earlier this afternoon at Indianapolis Motor Speedway has led to Alexander Rossi going to the hospital. Rossi is in "good spirits" and was awake and alert before being taken to the hospital.
Alexander Rossi, driver of the No. 20 car for Ed Carpenter Racing, spun out of Turn 2. Rossi's car slammed into the wall and multiple cars were collected in the aftermath. Romain Grosjean and Pato O'Ward were both checked out and released from the infield care center.
