NASCAR Fans Will Be Hit With Big Change This Week for Coca-Cola 600
The NASCARCup Series will undergo a big change for the next 5 weeks. Coverage has ended with Fox, and it now heads to Amazon Prime. The platform's debut race will be this Sunday night for the longest race in NASCAR: the Coca-Cola 600. Prime's coverage will go through June 21 for the Anduril 250 at Naval Base Coronado in San Diego, California.
The following is the 5-race schedule for which Amazon Prime takes over televised race coverage. After these races, the series will head to NBC and TNT for the remainder of the season.

The main broadcast crew for the NASCAR Cup Series on Prime will feature Adam Alexander, Dale Earnhardt Jr., and Steve Letarte. They will also be on the call for Practice and Qualifying, which has been, and will remain on Prime all season long.
Alexander is also the main announcer for the O'Reilly Auto Parts Series on The CW. Earnhardt Jr. is best known these days for hosting his podcast, the Dale Jr. Download, as well as owning his O'Reilly Auto Parts Series' Champion Team, JR Motorsports. Letarte is a former crew chief for Jeff Gordon and Dale Earnhardt Jr. He also now works with NBC/TNT's broadcast crew, which will take over after Prime's 5-race schedule concludes.
For those unfamiliar, the transition to Amazon Prime will require a subscription. The cost is $8.99/month for Prime Video as a standalone service for fans who do not already have the subscription. It is required to get the race coverage.
The debut race takes place this weekend on Sunday at 6:00 PM ET. The Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway is the circuit's longest race of the season. It will follow up on the Indy 500 and the Canadian Grand Prix in Formula One.
The Indy 500 will go off at Noon on Sunday on NBC. The Canadian Grand Prix will be on Apple TV+ at 4:00 PM ET.
The Sunday of Memorial Day Weekend is widely hailed as 'The Greatest Day in Motorsports.' Historically, Formula One would race the Monaco Grand Prix on this day. In 2026, the schedule has been modified. The race, which is usually in the morning in the US, now takes place at 4:00 PM ET. It is expected to be finished in under two hours, just in time for the Coca-Cola 600.
