Jeff Teague Sends Strong Warning About Jalen Brunson Before ECF
The No. 3 seed New York Knicks will face off against the No. 4 seed Cleveland Cavaliers in the Eastern Conference Finals.
The Knicks have been resting and preparing for the conference finals since their Game 4 victory that secured a series sweep over the Philadelphia 76ers last Sunday. Meanwhile, the Cavaliers just finished an intense second-round battle with the No. 1 seed Detroit Pistons that went to seven games.
The Cavaliers now have to deal with a fully-rested Jalen Brunson - an impossible task according to retired NBA veteran Jeff Teague.
Teague believes there’s not a single player on the Cavaliers’ roster that can stop Brunson from putting up elite scoring numbers.
"They don't got nobody who can guard Jalen Brunson, this [expletive] over with. I want James Harden to get to the Finals, definitely, but ain't nobody on that team can guard Jalen Brunson. They don't have nobody,” Teague said.
“Donovan Mitchell can’t guard him. They’re going to put Max Strus on him - no way. They’re going to put Dean Wade - no way,” Teague added.

Brunson averaged 29 points per game in the Knicks’ second-round sweep over the 76ers, shooting 51.3% from the field and 44.8% from behind the 3-point arc. He’s recorded three 30-point games so far this postseason, including 39 in a win over the Atlanta Hawks in Round 1.
