Carson Hocevar Voices Frustration on Radio After Untimely Caution at Dover

With the laps winding down at Dover Motor Speedway, Carson Hocevar took himself to pit road before he blew a tire. Then, the caution came out and it was Hocevar who was blowing up on the radio.

NASCAR threw the caution flag right as Hocevar was off of pit road, and two laps down. He ended up stuck there because of the caution. In the moment, Hocevar let his feelings be known over the radio with a few choice words.

"Now I'm gonna have to pass them for the 6th time, eventually these (expletive) yahoos that are no driving (expletive) will figure it out," Hocevar said over the radio.

You can't blame Hocevar for being frustrated. He was able to get back within a lap down. At that point, the damage had been done. With less than 70 laps to go at the time of the caution, it was a death sentence for his hopes of winning.

We are starting to see these young drivers up in the front of these races more and more. Hocevar had a really solid day up until he got pinned down a couple of laps. Connor Zilisch was vying for the lead at one point, but he had a pit road penalty that set him back. He still finished P5.

Austin Dillon had a fantastic race. He finished P4 and Erik Jones was P3. Two underdogs had a solid day at Dover. Too bad it wasn't a points race. Of course, Denny Hamlin won the race and ran away from his teammate Chase Briscoe late in order to get it done.

P14 ultimately for Carson Hocevar. He was one lap down, the only car a single lap down at the finish. Dover delivered a really solid race. Even with Hamlin dominating, the racing on the track was intense, there were big wrecks, and side-by-side racing at times.
