Forza Horizon 6 Release: What Time Can You Start Playing?
It's officially almost time for Forza Horizon 6. With just two days remaining until the global launch, Premium Edition owners are already tearing through the streets of Japan thanks to the game's early access rollout.
Across social media and early reviews, players have been heavily praising the game's map design, touge roads, drifting culture, weather effects, and overall atmosphere. Japan has quickly become one of the most talked-about settings in franchise history.
Forza Horizon 6 Release Times
For Xbox Series X|S and the Xbox PC app, the game follows a rolling midnight release schedule.
That means players gain access once the eastern-most timezone in their country reaches 12:01 a.m. Players can also preload the game now ahead of launch so they are ready to jump in immediately once access goes live.
United States Unlock Times
- Eastern Time (ET): 12:01 a.m.
- Central Time (CT): 11:01 p.m.
- Mountain Time (MT): 10:01 p.m.
- Pacific Time (PT): 9:01 p.m.
Steam players appear to follow a separate unlock schedule. The Steam page currently lists the standard edition unlock for May 18, while Premium Edition owners already have Advanced Access live.

The Premium Edition is the most content-heavy version of the game and includes up to four days of early access starting May 15.

According to the official edition breakdown, additional future DLC car packs are sold separately and are not automatically included with the Deluxe or Premium Editions.
