The Arizona Cardinals Just Hit a New Low as The NFL's Worst Franchise

The NFC West is arguably the strongest division in all of the NFL.

And the only reason it’s arguable is because of one team: the Arizona Cardinals.

The Seattle Seahawks are defending Super Bowl champions. The Los Angeles Rams are the odds-on favorite to be the next Super Bowl winner. And the San Francisco 49ers might be the most talented of the bunch when fully healthy.

Then there’s the Cardinals, who recently cut their franchise face, Kyler Murray, after years of mediocrity. The team’s projected starter, Jacoby Brissett, is holding out for more money. In the most recent NFL Draft, they drafted a running back, Jeremiyah Love, with the third overall pick, when their offensive line is made up of players you’d think were created by a random name generator.

And on Thursday, it only got worse for Arizona fans, as the team released its upcoming regular season schedule in the worst way possible. While other teams had their media teams create memorable video packages or team up with major brands like “The Simpsons” or “Street Fighter” to produce high-level collaborations, the Cardinals spat out an AI-riddled video that fell flat.

Arizona’s schedule release video was a poorly put-together, mind-numbing final product that produced more groans than laughs, featuring the team’s mascot talking to other mascots across the league.

While the schedule release has already racked up over a million views, the video has been universally panned, with even fans of the team giving up on the upcoming campaign before it’s even begun.
