Caitlin Clark Had No Interest In Her Teammates' Pregame Outfits
Caitlin Clark was back in action last night for the Indiana Fever against the Los Angeles Sparks and while everyone wanted to get a look at her and her teammates outfits before the game, she was focused on getting warmed up.
Video from the Crypto.com Arena just before the game shows Clark making a beeline for the court past teammate Lexie Hull. Reporters tried to get her to pose for the cameras, but Clark refused, declaring that she had to get her stretches in first.
"I got some stretching to do," she said, drawing some teasing from Hull.
Praise
Fans were pretty happy to see Clark choosing to prioritize the game over the cameras:
"I mean, its not fashion week! Good grief!! Treat ball like a run way!! 🙄 Tell'em!" one user remarked.
"No offense. That's how it should be. Do we need this?" wrote another.
"I know Psycho Caitlin when I see her. And that was her. Right there," a third wrote.
"I respect the women who can glam up and I respect the chicks that keep it ball and not trying to do all that. I love that the WNBA has got both."
"She means business."
Those must have been some pretty good stretches because Clark went on to have one of the better games we've seen from her. She finished the game with 24 points, nine rebounds and four assists in 31 minutes as the Fever got their first win of the young season over the Sparks.
Given how much people we were all concerned about her repeated back treatments during the season opener, it was a relief to see her balling out on Wednesday.
