Dillon Brooks Makes Bold Prediction for Victor Wembanyama
At just 22 years old, Victor Wembanyama is already one of the most dominant players in the NBA.
Despite earning unanimous Defensive Player of the Year honors and finishing the year as one of the leading candidates for MVP, the third-year center has yet to reach his full potential.
During a recent livestream, Phoenix Suns forward Dillon Brooks made a bold prediction for Wembanyama.
“Once Wemby gets his first [MVP], you probably won’t see anyone else get it,” Brooks said. “You’re not going to see another person get it.”
“His numbers are going to go up every year,” Brooks continued.

Wembanyama and the San Antonio Spurs lead the Minnesota Timberwolves 3-2 heading into Game 6 of their second-round playoff series. The 7-foot-4 Frenchman recorded 27 points and 17 rebounds in the Spurs’ dominant Game 5 victory, returning to action after he was ejected in Game 4.
"I was fresh, feeling good," Wembanyama said after Game 5, via ESPN. "Honestly, it's hard to tell. It was just Game 5. Obviously, I'm going to be excited (and) to have butterflies. So, excitement is not something abnormal at this point in the playoffs."
