'Major' Roster Changes Coming To WWE This Summer

Major changes are reportedly coming to the WWE this summer.

The WWE has already had some big-time roster changes. Following the WrestleMania 42 pay-per-view in late April, several wrestlers were released. The WWE cut ties with Aleister Black, Zelina Vega, the entire Wyatt Sicks stable, Apollo Crews and The Motor City Machine Guns. Later in the month, Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods were let go.

More roster changes are apparently coming.

According to a report from Bodyslam+, more wrestlers will be called up from the NXT developmental brand. The moves will come in the summer and the wrestlers are expected to join the Raw or SmackDown brands.

The roster cuts appear to be completed, at least.

No more roster cuts are expected

Dave Meltzer, speaking on the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, reports that everyone who is being cut has been told.

"Every name has been told," Meltzer said. "If someone was told and did not go on social media or they did not remove the name from the website yet, it is possible a name or two could still come out."

Some wrestlers were reportedly going to be cut unless a pay cut was taken.

It's shaping up to be an interesting summer.
