Danica Patrick Impresses With Career-Best Golf Score
Danica Patrick retired from racing in 2018, but she hasn't stopped being an athlete.
The 44-year-old former NASCAR and IndyCar driver has been staying active. She plays a lot of tennis, does a lot of skiing and, recently, has been getting into golf. It's been up and down for her.
"Then I forgot how to hit my driver to start the year off… Until about 10 days ago. I remembered just as mysteriously as I forgot," Patrick said in a social media post about her golf game.
"Golf is a funny game… And mostly played by those who just love to be hard on themselves. A game you will never master and repeatedly wonder - why am I doing this to myself?!"
But lately, Patrick has been playing well.
The former NASCAR and IndyCar recently posted her career-best score. She took to her Instagram Story to brag about it.
It's impressive.
Danica brags about her career-best golf score
Patrick revealed that she shot an 83. That came without any breakfast balls, gimmes, etc. It's an impressive score for someone who's just starting out.
"Shot a 💯 legit putted out no gimmies no breakfast balls 83 yesterday!!!!!!" she wrote on her Instagram Story.
"And let me tell ya, I missed about 5 very very short putts. 😩 On the other hand, don't tell my GHIN. 🤣"
Patrick has been getting more and more into golf and, with scores in the 80s, she certainly has a lot to be proud about.
It's impressive to be that good this early.
