The ‘Sky is the Limit' for Lamar Jackson and Ravens in 2026
The Baltimore Ravens had a rough 2025-26 NFL season, rounding out their run with an 8-9 record and not getting to the postseason for the first time since 2021.
But, all is not lost. The Ravens still have a quarterback worthy of his MVP status in Lamar Jackson, and this could be not only his year but the entire franchise’s year.
So, what do the Ravens have hope in 2026? For one, it’s worth noting that the reason they didn’t thrive last season largely had to do with major injuries to players and losses in very close games. These weren’t blowouts, showing that the core of the team’s strength is still there. Plus, they have a solid offense.
In a feature out this week for Fox Sports, Ben Arthur ranks the strongest offenses in the NFL right now.
“There’s still a long way to go before we see real football again,” he states in the piece. “But with the NFL Draft in the books and the majority of the top-tier free agents signed, teams know what the core of their squads will look like in 2026.”
Arthur puts the Ravens’ offense at No. 7 and emphasizes that they’re still strong. He even says the “sky is the limit” for this team.
“With a healthy Lamar Jackson, the sky is the limit for the Ravens’ offense,” he states. “There have been some significant changes in Baltimore - playcaller Todd Monken is gone, as well as several key contributors - but the run game could see a boost with the additions of first-round pick Olaivavega Ioane and veteran John Simpson at guard.”

He adds: “The Ravens also grabbed much needed wide receiver depth behind Zay Flowers in mid-round picks Ja'Kobi Lane (third round) and Elijah Sarratt (fourth round).”
My Take: Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens for the 2026-27 Season
Jackson was notably frustrated with last season’s Ravens woes, and he’s going to have that on his mind going into this new season. Jackson, of course, was our injured for a good chunk of last season, and that was singlehandedly the team’s real problem. The team has a new head coach in Jesse Minter, and it remains to be seen what he does.

If Jackson can stay healthy, and if the team’s rookie wide receivers Lane and Sarratt can deliver, there’s really going to be no stopping the Baltimore Ravens in 2026.
