Jeopardy! Contestants Had No Idea Who Kylie Kelce Is
Jeopardy! contestants failed to answer a question about Kylie Kelce, the wife of former Philadelphia Eagles star Jason Kelce.
Kylie Kelce has become a bit of a celebrity in her own right. The wife of the Super Bowl-winning offensive lineman launched her own podcast, "Not Gonna Lie," and has built up an impressive social media following. Everyone in the Kelce family - from brothers Travis and Jason, to their mom, Donna, to Kylie - have made it clear that they enjoy being in the spotlight and getting attention.
But during a recent Jeopardy! episode, contestants made it clear that Kylie Kelce actually isn't that big of a celebrity.
Kylie Kelce was recently the answer to a question asked by Ken Jennings on Jeopardy!
"Debuting in 2024, Not Gonna Lie stars this future sister-in-law of Taylor Swift," the question from Jennings read.
No one got it, though.
Jeopardy! contestants were stumped by Jennings' question. No one was able to correctly identify the future sister-in-law of Taylor Swift.
Kylie Kelce reacts to the Jeopardy! snubbing
Thankfully, Kylie Kelce had a good reaction to not being that famous.
"Exactly. Nobody knew it. And that is how I like it. Okay? This was a great reference point. People shouldn't know who I am," she admitted.
She added that her family is big-time Jeopardy! fans.
"I think that people were telling me that as if to be like, everyone from Philadelphia should know you. Wrong," she said.
Kelce added that "growing up was a Jeopardy! and Wheel of Fortune house. We watched it every single night. We loved both shows."
Her dad was a huge fan.
"My dad is randomly good at Jeopardy! Because he likes to know a lot of random facts and has them stored away for that exact purpose - for shouting them at the TV," she shared. "My dad was very excited to see it. He was watching Jeopardy! at home by himself when it happened."
Her family loved the mention, at least.
"I was dropping my mom off, and he came bolting out the front door and showed me the video like this in my face and said, 'You gotta see this.' And I was like, 'Okay. Perfect. Perfect. Perfect,' " she said.
Good for Kylie Kelce for being a good sport about it all.
