Patrick Mahomes' Wife Brittany Mahomes Dealing With Medical Condition

Kansas City Chiefs star Patrick Mahomes has three kids with his wife, Brittany Mahomes.

Their eldest is Sterling, 5, followed by a son, Bronze, who is now 3. Their youngest child is Golden, who turned 1 in January.

Raising three young kids at home is no easy task, and Brittany Mahomes is now dealing with the physical drawbacks of the same.

The 30-year-old took to social media on Tuesday to share a medical condition that she has been nursing for quite some time now. However, it wasn't until recently that she got herself diagnosed.

Brittany Mahomes revealed in an Instagram story that she has De Quervain's tenosynovitis. The condition is more commonly known as "mother's wrist."

"To find out I have this.." she wrote. "Been battling it for probably around a year now thinking it will just get better, well it never did and started to get pretty bad…"

In her post, the Whitehouse, Texas, native shared a Google screenshot explaining her medical condition. According to the post, mother's wrist is described as "a painful condition causing swelling and stiffness on the thumb side of the wrist, common in new mothers due to repetitive lifting and hormonal changes."

In her next post, Brittany Mahomes shared a photo of her arm with a wrist/thumb support brace. It appears to be a compression and stabilization device to help cure her condition. "I get to wear this cool thing.." she wrote.

Brittany Mahomes is not the only one in the household dealing with an injury. Her husband, Patrick Mahomes, is currently rehabbing a season-ending knee injury.

The four-time Super Bowl-winning quarterback tore the ACL and LCL in his left knee in Week 15 of the 2025 season. He underwent surgery and has since been working hard to regain full strength.

The good news is that Mahomes is progressing well and is expected to be ready for the start of the new season.
