Jaxson Dart Named 'Best Dressed' Athlete At The Kentucky Derby
While some in the sports world were criticized for their 2026 Kentucky Derby outfit - Bill Belichick's girlfriend, Rob Gronkowski, etc. - New York Giants quarterback Jaxson Dart won the day.
Dart, a second-year quarterback, was named the "Best Dressed Gentleman" at the 2026 Kentucky Derby. He looked better than all of the other professional athletes in attendance. And there were plenty of them, from Gronkowski to Joe Burrow to Jeffery Simmons to Avery Johnson and others.
But Dart won the title.
The Kentucky Derby has a pretty clear dress code, too.
"Derby fashion is all about style and tradition. For women, colorful dresses and bold hats are the norm. For men, seersucker suits, bow ties, and fedoras are popular. Comfort meets Southern charm!" the official dress code reads.
"Men typically wear colorful suits or sports coats, often in bold prints, pastels, or preppy plaids. Pair it with a dress shirt, tie or bowtie, and stylish loafers or dress shoes. A fedora or bowler hat adds a classic Derby touch. The key is polished, springtime flair-don't be afraid to stand out!
"The Kentucky Derby has a dress code that encourages guests to wear upscale attire. This often includes hats for women and suits or dresses for both men and women."
Dart, who attended the Kentucky Derby with his girlfriend, influencer Marissa Ayers, looked sharp in a white pinstripe suit, black polka-dot shirt and white hat.
The NFL quarterback received the official title of "Best Gentleman's Outfit" at the Kentucky Derby.
NFL fans agree - he looked sharp
NFL fans loved the look.
"Well deserved. He trained hard this year for this moment and I'm happy to see it paid off. He's glad he did," one fan joked.
"That's my quarterback!! I love the Triple Crown Races. 🐎," one fan added.
"Gonna be running tempo this year. Golden Tempo," another fan joked.
"Best looking couple there," one fan added.
It's been a strong offseason of looks for Dart.
