Rob Gronkowski Gets Accused Of Not Following Kentucky Derby Dress Code
If you had to guess which former NFL star would get called out for their outfit at the Kentucky Derby in 2026, Rob Gronkowski would probably come close to the top of the list, right?
Gronkowski was a standout performer on the field, but the beer-loving tight end wasn't exactly known for his style.
Unsurprisingly, Gronk is getting called out for his outfit choice at the 2026 Kentucky Derby on Saturday, as celebrity website Nicki Swift named him the worst-dressed former athlete at the event.
"He showed up at the Kentucky Derby in khaki pants, a light blue button-up shirt, a dark blue jacket, and a matching baseball cap," they wrote.
"While Gronkowski isn't much of a style star, if you're going to the Kentucky Derby, you have to do something a little different with your outfit. Clearly, in this case, Gronkowski missed the memo, with his look much too simple for the event."
Gronkowski was accompanied at the race by his longtime girlfriend, Camille Kostek, a former Patriots cheerleader.
She followed the Kentucky Derby dress code memo, at least.
The Kentucky Derby's dress code is pretty clear
The Kentucky Derby encourages men to dress in fun colors and patterns in an elevated way.
"Derby fashion is all about style and tradition. For women, colorful dresses and bold hats are the norm. For men, seersucker suits, bow ties, and fedoras are popular. Comfort meets Southern charm!" the dress code states.
"Men typically wear colorful suits or sports coats, often in bold prints, pastels, or preppy plaids. Pair it with a dress shirt, tie or bowtie, and stylish loafers or dress shoes. A fedora or bowler hat adds a classic Derby touch. The key is polished, springtime flair-don't be afraid to stand out!"
Gronkowski didn't follow the memo, but outside of the hat with a logo, he looked fine, right?
