UFC Is Giving Away 85,000 Tickets To White House Fight

UFC's White House event is coming up soon.

Dana White and the UFC are set to host a special Fight Night at the White House, in honor of America's 250th birthday.

The UFC president announced on Saturday during an appearance on "My View with Lara Trump" that he and President Donald Trump are teaming up to give away a ton of tickets to fans.

A temporary arena that will seat 4,300 spectators will be constructed. Meanwhile, tens of thousands of fans will be able to watch from nearby.

White said that about 85,000 tickets will be given away.

"If you are a fan of the UFC and especially if you have never been to Washington, D.C., we're going to give away about 85,000 tickets," White said.

The fans will be able to watch nearby from the Ellipse, the public park right next to the White House.

There's only one thing that could stop the event

White said that only one thing could stop the outdoor event: lightning.

"If it rains, we're going. If it snows, we're going. The only thing that will stop us is lightning. But we're working with the military," he said. 

The U.S. military will be monitoring the weather closely.

"So these are all things that we'll be playing with the week of the event on top of all the other things that we will have going on, which we never had to deal with."

"The only time I'd ever agreed to do an outdoor event was in Abu Dhabi... I could be the weatherman in Abu Dhabi and I would be right every time."

The event is set for June 14.
