Potential New Landing Spot Emerges for Pro Bowl WR Odell Beckham Jr.

Though he hasn't played since December 2024, Odell Beckham Jr. still isn't ready to give up hope on his NFL comeback.

The 33-year-old wide receiver last played for the Miami Dolphins (a brief nine-game run in 2024) after stints with the Baltimore Ravens (2023), Los Angeles Rams (2021), Cleveland Browns (2019-2021), and New York Giants (2014-2018).

A three-time Pro Bowler, two-time All-Pro, and Super Bowl champion, Beckham Jr. has battled his share of injuries over the years. He missed eight games in 2024, three games in 2023, all of the 2022 season, three games in 2021, nine games in 2020, four games in 2018, and 12 games in 2017 - meaning any team that signs him likely knows they aren't getting the perennial 90-catch, 1,000-yard threat he used to be.

However, it seems one team could be a possible landing spot for Beckham Jr. if he does play again. During a recent appearance on "Up & Adams," New Orleans Saints 2026 first-round pick Jordyn Tyson revealed he's been training with Beckham Jr. recently, and he seemed to hint the former LSU star could potentially join him in New Orleans.

"Me and Odell, we're talking all the time," Tyson said. "He was in Arizona when I was training in Arizona, so [he told me] ‘Keep your head down, keep doing what you need to do' just kind of the main points."

"You know, he's still a free agent," host Kay Adams replied. "He could come back to Louisiana; what would you think of that?"

"Yeah, he did say he wants…he did say he loves Louisiana, he loves the city and anything I need just reach out to him," Tyson stated. "That'd be pretty cool to have him part of the group."

Though he recorded just nine catches for 55 yards with Miami, that doesn't seem truly reflective of what Beckham Jr. brings to the table.

During his eight-game stint with the Rams, he logged 27 catches, 305 yards, and five touchdowns, and during his one-year run with the Ravens, he totaled 35 receptions, 565 yards, and three touchdowns - indicative that Beckham Jr. could still contribute as a solid WR3 option.

With New Orleans drafting Tyson eighth overall just days ago, and three-time 1,000-yard receiver Chris Olave entrenched as the team's WR1, Beckham Jr. could be the perfect addition for a Saints offense primed to take a step forward in Year 2 with quarterback Tyler Shough.
