Prep Highlights: Battle Ground baseball outlasts Union to set up winner-take-all 4A GSHL title clash

The Class 4A Greater St. Helens League baseball title will be decided on the season's final day after Battle Ground beat Union 2-1 in 13 innings on Tuesday.

Titans starter Isaiah Barge and Mason Korhonen held the Tigers scoreless through seven innings, allowing a combined two base hits.

Battle Ground broke the deadlock in the top of the 10th when Axel Massie was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded.

Union responded as Blake Sutton singled to drive in Jacob Chandler after an eight-pitch at bat with one out.

Battle Ground's Cooper McGowan pitched six innings in relief, striking out six and allowing four hits and two walks.
