Brittany Mahomes Has NFL Fans Losing It Over Cowgirl Outfit

Brittany Mahomes, the wife of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, is heating up her social media timeline this NFL offseason.

Mahomes broke the internet this past February by posing for Sports Illustrated Swimsuit's digital cover along with Haley Cavinder, Christen Goff, Claire Kittle, Ronika Love and Normani. That cover shoot was designed to highlight the wives and girlfriends of popular NFL players.

"There's so many different women in this space and we're all doing our own thing," Mahomes told SI Swimsuit. "Being the significant other of an NFL player is an extremely hard and challenging role. And so every woman in this space, whether they're chasing their own dreams or they're their own entrepreneur or they're a mother or they're a leader or they're a supporter, I think we all are doing super powerful things and super empowering things in this world."

Mahomes didn't return for another collaboration with SI Swimsuit this week, but she caused quite the stir by posting photos of herself in a cowgirl outfit.

"Giddy up cowguuuuurl," one of her friends commented.

"Will never be over this look," an Instagram user wrote.

"The King and Queen of the Kingdom," a Chiefs fan said.

"Omg obsessed with this look," another person wrote.

Brittany has made a name for herself in the NWSL.

Although she's mostly associated with the NFL, Brittany is a founding co-owner of the KC Current. She watched her squad win the NWSL Shield last season.

"Being able to be involved in the sport, and really help elevate women's sports, is something that I'm super passionate about," she said, via SI Swimsuit. "And so getting involved in the KC Current and building a championship culture here and really setting the standard and the bar for women's sports is super cool. So, just getting involved and getting more excitement around the NWSL and helping when I can with the platform that I have and just empowering female athletes in women's soccer is something that I'm really excited about."

From owning an NWSL team to posing for SI Swimsuit, it's safe to say Brittany is expanding her brand.
