WWE Star Blake Monroe Sends Fans Into Frenzy With Swimsuit Photo
WWE superstar Blake Monroe is quickly establishing herself as a fan favorite.
Monroe, who competed in All Elite Wrestling under her real name of Mariah May, was actually a ring announcer before becoming a pro wrestler in 2019. She had her breakout moment in August 2024, winning the AEW Women's World Championship.
Clearly, Monroe showed enough potential in the ring at AEW to earn a contract from the WWE in June 2025.
Even though Monroe didn't compete at WrestleMania 42, she had fans buzzing over her social media content. She posted a few swimsuit photos on Instagram that received over 28,000 likes.
"Absolutely beautiful," one fan commented.
"Blaking the internet," a second fan wrote.
"Blake ATE and has left no crumbs," an Instagram user said.
It's Blake Monroe's time to shine.
The WWE teased this Friday that Monroe is being promoted to "SmackDown" by playing a video for "The Glamour." It was awfully similar to her "NXT" debut.
There were rumblings about Monroe being called up to the main roster right before WrestleMania, so it's not a surprise to hear that she's destined to join the "SmackDown" brand.
Wrestling fans have already seen Monroe reach the top of AEW's mountain. We'll see if she can add the WWE Women's Championship to her résumé within the next 12 months.
