Sherrone Moore Accused Of Getting Ex-Michigan Assistant Paige Shiver Pregnant

Former Michigan coach Sherrone Moore is back in the headlines for a concerning reason.

Moore was fired by Michigan on Dec. 10, 2025 after the university was informed about his inappropriate relationship with a staff member named Paige Shiver. He then showed up to the staff member's house and allegedly "came at her with knives." The authorities arrested him for third-degree home invasion, stalking, and breaking and entering.

Shiver, 32, spoke to ABC News about her nearly four-year relationship with Moore. She also opened up about her horrifying encounter with him in December.

"All of a sudden I hear footsteps and they're getting closer and louder, and I'm like, ‘Crap', so I run to my door to try and lock it," Shiver said. "He barges is and is standing this close to me and says, ‘You ruined my life. Why would you do this to me?' I started backing up and he starts following me. ... He's 6-4 and he comes in with his hood up, looking down at me saying I ruined his life, crying, and it's like, and he starts coming at me, and I tell him to leave and he's not supposed to be here, he's not listening to me, then he starts grabbing butter knives."

Shiver also told ABC News that she was pregnant with Moore's baby. Although she wanted to keep the baby, she was advised not to due to her Pompe Disease.

"Multiple doctors and experts told me that it wouldn't be right or healthy for me to keep the baby," Shiver said. "[Moore] said you have to do what's right for your body."

Paige Shiver slams Sherrone Moore's sentencing.

Despite the concerning allegations surrounding Moore, he was sentenced to 18 months' probation and fined just over $1,000.

Shiver's legal team made it clear that they weren't thrilled with District Court Judge Cedric Simpson's decision.

"Today's sentence does not reflect the harm done to me or the objective evidence in this case," Shiver's attorneys told People. "December 10th was the most terrifying day of my life," Shiver said. "The criminal acts he committed were extremely frightening and violent. He broke into my apartment, crying, yelling, enraged, and came at me with knives. I was threatened, and I feared for my life."

Shiver told ABC News that Moore should be in jail. Suffice to say, she isn't holding back.
