Photo Of Kay Adams, Ty Simpson Gets 1.1 Million Views Before NFL Draft

Before hitting the red carpet for the NFL Draft on Thursday night, Alabama quarterback Ty Simpson spent time with popular TV host Kay Adams.

Simpson, the No. 2 quarterback in this year's draft class, is one of 16 prospects who'll be in attendance for this event in Pittsburgh. He helped out his draft stock a ton by throwing for 3,567 yards and 28 touchdowns during the 2025 season.

According to Albert Breer of Sports Illustrated, the Arizona Cardinals, Los Angeles Rams and New York Jets have been linked to Simpson the most during this draft process.

"It feels, to me at least, like the Jets are comfortable moving forward without spending a high pick on a quarterback this year-with three first-rounders to address that in the 2027 draft," Breer wrote. "Would the Cardinals take him at 34? Or trade into the first round to get him? Would the Rams take him at 13? Or maneuver with their picks-because they don't have another pick between 13 and 61-to get into a more appropriate spot to take him? Much of the speculation surrounding the Cardinals centers on their need at the position. As for the Rams, there are links between Simpson's dad and their GM Les Snead that have led to some dot-connecting going all the way back to Simpson declaring for the draft."

While it's unclear which NFL team will pull the trigger on Simpson, he seems to be in good spirits.

On Thursday afternoon, Adams shared photos on social media of her and Simpson enjoying Buffalo Wild Wings. Her post already has over 1.2 million views and 4,600 likes.

"Stealing french fries is my definitive draft skill," Adams wrote. "@BWWings sorry Ty Simpson!"

Keep an eye on the Rams.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport said the Rams informed Simpson's father that he should be a first-round pick. Will they be the ones to select him though?

"When Ty Simpson was trying to decide whether or not he should come out of Alabama and enter the draft, his father consulted with, among other people, Les Snead, the GM of the Rams, who told him Ty was, in fact, a first-rounder," said Rapoport, via On3. "Could the Rams, maybe in a trade-back situation, be looking at Simpson? We shall see."

The Rams don't have a successor in place for Matthew Stafford, so taking Simpson makes sense.

The NFL Draft will be televised on ABC, ESPN and NFL Network.
