Storm's Ezi Magbegor out at least 6-8 weeks with foot injury

Center Ezi Magbegor, the Storm's leading returning scorer from last year, will miss at least six to eight weeks because of a foot injury, the team announced Monday.

The team released the following statement:

"Seattle Storm forward/center Ezi Magbegor suffered a right foot injury while playing for Australia in the 2026 FIBA Basketball World Cup Qualifiers in Istanbul. Updates on her progress will be made available in 6-8 weeks."

Magbegor is entering her seventh WNBA season and averaged 8.0 points per game in 2025.

She recently agreed to a three-year contract worth $3.75 million that will keep her in Seattle through the 2028 season.
