Final Injury Report for Rockets-Lakers Game 2: Will Kevin Durant, Luka Doncic Play?

The Los Angeles Lakers are at home on Tuesday night as they host the Houston Rockets in Game 2 of the first round of the NBA Playoffs.

Los Angeles enters Tuesday's game with a 1-0 series lead after defeating Houston at home in Game 1 on Saturday night.

In Saturday's victory over the Rockets, Luke Kennard led the way for the Lakers as he recorded 27 points, four rebounds and three assists while LeBron James added 19 points, eight rebounds and 13 assists of his own.

Now Los Angeles will try to use home court to their advantage once again on Tuesday as they try to take a commanding 2-0 series lead with a victory over the Rockets.

On the other side, Houston enters Tuesday's contest trailing 0-1 in the series after losing on the road to the Lakers in Game 1 on Saturday night.

Alperen Sengun led the way for the Rockets in Saturday's loss as he ended the game with 19 points, eight rebounds and six assists while Amen Thompson recorded 17 points, 7 rebounds and seven assists.

While both teams are looking to pick up a victory in Game 2 on Tuesday night, both squads may be without multiple key players due to injuries.

Rockets Injury Report: Will Kevin Durant Play?

For the Rockets, they have three players listed on their injury report, including star forward Kevin Durant.

Houston has listed Durant as questionable due to a right knee contusion and he is in danger of missing his second consecutive contest due to the injury.

If Durant is sidelined once again, Reed Sheppard and Josh Okogie could both continue to have larger roles while the Rockets will likely rely on Sengun and Thompson to carry the load offensively.

The Rockets have ruled out Fred VanVleet as he continues to recover from a torn ACL while Steven Adams will miss the remainder of the season while recovering from ankle surgery.

Lakers Injury Report: Will Luka Doncic, Austin Reaves Play?

On the other side, the Lakers have two players listed on their injury report as they have ruled out both Luka Doncic and Austin Reaves.

Los Angeles has ruled out Doncic due to a left hamstring strain as he will miss his seventh consecutive contest and he is expected to miss at least one more week with the injury.

The Lakers have also ruled out Reaves due to a left oblique strain as he will also miss his sixth straight game.

With both Doncic and Reaves still sidelined, James, Kennard and Rui Hachimura will likely all continue to have larger roles.

Fans can catch Game 2 of the first-round series between the Rockets and Lakers from Los Angeles on Tuesday night at 10:30 p.m. ET on NBC and Peacock.
