Any chances for the Wolves' first victory or an upset were quickly squashed on Monday afternoon, only getting two baserunners in an 11-0, five-inning loss to the Bobcats on the road.

Catcher Emma Arko drew a one-out walk in the top of the fourth and Maddie Knight reached on a fielder's choice, but that was all Black Hills (0-10, 0-7) could muster. Aberdeen plated six runs in the first and four in the third.

The Wolves will look to bounce back on Wednesday when they host Centralia.
